10 largest yachts on display at 2018 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show/ FLIBS

 

Recognized as the largest in-water boat show in the world, the 59th annual Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) spans 3 million square feet of exhibition space at seven locations conveniently linked by land shuttles and water taxis.

Multi-million-dollar super yachts comprise an elite subset among the more than 1,200 boats of all sizes and prices ondisplay. This year’s largest, a distinction often referred to as the “Queen of the Show,” is the 244-foot Elandess by German yacht builder Abeking & Rasmussen. Featuring a 26-foot, transparent swimming pool, the yacht is designedto comfortably accommodate up to 14 guests in seven cabins with the capability of carrying up to 24 crew onboard.

While the show features watercraft of all sizes and prices and an eye-popping display of marine accessories, it is the extraordinary superyachts that capture the imagination of the thousands of attendees walking the docks. Here are the 10 largest yachts on display at this year’s FLIBS show:
