On the fourth floor of the museum, there is a huge terrace that overlooks the city of Denver; even though you may think that it’s the same as any other overlook, there are the mountains in the background, which make for an amazing view of the city. Of course, some people can spend all day admiring a view, but if you are not one of those people, then the Nature and Science museum is the place for you.
On top of the amazing overlook it offers, there are several other activities to do in the museum itself. You could easily spend an entire day admiring the view of Denver and doing fun, science-related activities in the museum.

Red Rocks Amphitheatre
If there is a concert at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre when you are in town, get tickets, or at least try as hard as you can. There is no better outdoor event venue in the entire country than the red rocks amphitheater. Not only is it stunning to look at, considering there is a mountain range directly behind the stage, it is also surprisingly acoustically structured, which is surprising when considering how open it is.
Even if you can’t get tickets to a show, you at least have to go check out the theatre because it is like looking at the Grand Canyon with a stage in front of it.
