Italian apparel manufacturer and lifestyle brand Moncler unveiled the second launch of the Moncler Genius project: 6 MONCLER NOIR KEI NINOMIYA. Japanese conceptul fashion designer Kei Ninomiya explored an idea of wearable geometry, pushing the limits of duvet from both a technical and an aesthetic viewpoint, striving for innovation in both fields. Technique is pushed to the extreme. Dawn-filled nylon tubes are knitted into voluminous jackets.The overall effect is one of dark romanticism, further stressed by the “futuristic black” palette.
The 6 MONCLER NOIR KEI NINOMIYA was launched at Dover Street Market in Ginza on July 24th, 2018 with an event inspired by the uncompromising palette of shiny black proper of the collection.

The Japanese designer Kei Ninomiya merges ancient origami traditions with futuristic design for his Moncler Genius collection and the novelist and filmmaker Veronica Gonzalez Peña explores the thrill of wearable geometry and the creative frontiers of A.I. and human friendships. Sophia, one of the world’s most human-like robots, stands in a garden dressed like her friend, played by the actress and musician Ryan Destiny, interacting as good friends.
