Delta Private Jets’ Sky Access Membership makes private jet travel affordable.
Delta Private Jets announced that it is launching its new Sky Access online membership program that offers members unlimited access to empty leg flights in addition to fixed hourly rate private jet travel. Members are able to book the whole aircraft without sharing it with others. With first-year memberships at $8,500 and renewal at $6,000, the Sky Access program makes luxury travel affordable.
Sky Access members will enjoy no limit on quantity of empty legs booked, no per-leg cost for empty legs, fixed hourly rate private jet travel, guaranteed availability for domestic flights with 24 hours’ notice on non-peak days, easy online booking through the Delta Private Jets mobile app or Client Portal, access to a fleet of more than 70 Wi-Fi equipped aircraft across the United States. All flights are operated using twin engine jets
“We are delighted to offer this suite of services and options for our Sky Access members at a reasonable price,” said Gary Hammes, president, Delta Private Jets. “In fact, just one empty leg’s value could be greater than the cost of a full Sky Access membership, making luxury travel affordable and a sound investment for those individuals who don’t want to feel like travelers.”
Empty legs are flights scheduled without passengers to ensure an aircraft is positioned for a trip at the right airport and the right time. This repositioning creates opportunity for last-minute trips at no fee for Sky Access members.
The customers who transfer flights at select airports are now able to travel seamlessly and luxuriously, both on the ground and in the air, thanks to a new service from Delta Private Jets and Porsche.
Delta Private Jets-branded Porsche SUVs will provide complimentary transfer service at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International (CVG), Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International (ATL), John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), and Los Angeles International (LAX) airports. Delta Private Jets Card members making connections between private and commercial flights at those airports will ride in high style in one of the latest Porsche models. Upon arrival, the traveler will be greeted at the private plane by a driver, ride luxuriously in the Porsche to the main terminal, and be escorted and expedited through security by Delta agents to the connecting flight.
“Our customers expect the highest level of service and the best there is to offer – and being transferred between flights in a Porsche certainly delivers the highest level of comfort and care,” said David Sneed, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Delta Private Jets. “Delta Private Jets and Porsche are two top premium brands, and by coordinating our efforts we are able to enhance the experience for our customers as they travel the globe.”
