A perfectly tailored Brunello Cucinelli camel overcoat designed to last a lifetime (EUR 22,730.18)
Vicuña wool is one of the rarest and finest textiles in the world. Brunello Cucinelli, the Italian fashion brand which sells menswear, women’s wear and accessories, is using it to craft a perfectly tailored camel overcoat designed to last a lifetime.
This Bruno Cucinelli Vicuña Coat exudes tailored masculine elegance, and is imagined in one of the world’s rarest fabrics. Native to the highlands of the Andes, Vicuña wool originates from the eponymous wild animal, considered sacred in the region. Hand-shorn every two years in sanctified ceremonies, just 200 grams of wool per animal is collected, reserved predominately for the creation of royal garments. Expert craftsmanship lends itself to a unique raised nap for a velvet-like touch, with hand-finished detailing using traditional methods an exclusive feature of the timeless design.
