Chopard Mille Miglia watch collection welcomes a distinguished newcomer, the Mille Miglia Classic Chronograph Raticosa watch available in two limited-edition series of 500 pieces. According to Chopard luxury house, the 2021 Mille Miglia Classic Chronograph Raticosa is for gentlemen drivers passionate about vintage watchmaking. Every detail is a nod to the best classic cars have to offer, starting with its chestnut brown calfskin leather strap equipped with a black rubber lining inspired by 1960s Dunlop tyres.

Every racer, of every generation, dreams of participating in the Mille Miglia, and Roman Dumas (@romaindumas_official) is no exception. The limited-edition Chopard Mille Miglia Classic Chronograph Raticosa is a tribute to the thousand stories, the thousand legends, written after the Raticosa pass, or La Futa Pass (Italian: Passo della Futa) is a pass in the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, at an elevation of 903 m (2,963 ft).

The winners of 1000 Miglia 2021

Andrea Vesco and Fabio Salvinelli, racing with the number 43, are the winners of the 1000 Miglia 2021: after almost 1800 km through some of the most beautiful cities in Italy, they won the competition driving the Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 Super Sport of 1929.

Andrea Vesco already has three victories to his credit, all with the same car model. After the successes first with Andrea Guerini and then, last year, with his father Roberto, this year he won the poker together with his co-driver Fabio Salvinelli, a regular driver from Brescia.

Kimura Hidemoto and Kawashima Shintaro, driving the Aston Martin V8 Zagato of 1989, took first place in the 1000 Miglia Experience, while Stefano Orlandini and Dennis D’Amico won the 1000 Miglia Green 2021 driving the Jaguar I-Pace.

An edition characterized by good weather, sometimes tough because of the summer heat and by a challenging route also due to the presence in the race of all three passes of Cisa, Futa and Raticosa that, for the first time were together in the re-enactment: a peculiarity that has satisfied and challenged all the crews in the race and the fans.

Out of 375 cars in the race, 341 crossed the finish line at the end of the race. The wonderful winners cups for the first place finishers were designed by Marc Newson and produced by Venini.
