There is a long and proud history of fine English ceramics celebrating Royal events, and the new Bronte’s Royal Baby pieces are a worthy addition to that tradition.
To celebrate the arrival of the new baby, HRH Princess Charlotte of Cambridge, the manufacturer of highest quality fine bone china and hand painted ceramics Bronte Porcelain announced a very special range of hand-painted commemoratives crafted from the finest English bone china.
The elegant Abberley Platter (£2,250.00) is an imposing 380mm in diameter, and features a hand-painted design of a proud pair of swans with their two cygnets, signifying the extended family, against the imposing backdrop of Anmer Hall – the Duke and Duchess’s home on the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk. The platter stands on its own integral foot, with an embossed design of acanthus leaves, and the rim and foot are finished with a 22 carat gold rim.
The swans and cygnets are also featured on a heart-shaped trinket box (£325.00) and an espresso cup and saucer (£325.00). These too are crafted from fine bone china, painted entirely by hand, and finished with 22 carat gold. All the items are signed by the artist and are presented in a silk-lined presentation box.
