Nicole Kidman shares her natural on-screen grace for a new OMEGA Ladymatic watch campaign. The actress joined OMEGA in Milan for a special celebration of women. The Swiss luxury watchmaker based in Biel/Bienne, Switzerland was looking back at more than 100 years of ladies’ watchmaking with a memorable exhibition in Europe’s home of fashion.
OMEGA’s Her Time exhibition at La Triennale di Milano displayed more than 100 years of beautiful, innovative and iconic ladies timepieces. To bring OMEGA’s 100 year journey with women to life, “Her Time” proudly displays a range of iconic OMEGA timepieces, from early Lèpine pendants to the revolutionary Ladymatic (Constellation, Seamaster, Speedmaster, De Ville, Specialities ranges).
Along with the watches themselves, viewers are also able to discover many examples of vintage artwork and OMEGA advertising, all of which show women in a variety of lifestyles.
Two years before the Titanic set sail, OMEGA created the radiant Lépine pendant, covered with blue enamel and a white gold netting set with 16 diamonds.
The prestigious Moldavita was created in 1964 for OMEGA by the jeweler Gilbert Albert and contains a rare gem-quality stone that was formed by a meteorite impact.
Displayed in the gold and white setting of La Triennale de Milano, the exhibition was officially opened by OMEGA president Stephen Urquhart and OMEGA brand ambassador Nicole Kidman. Celebrating her own 10 year anniversary with the brand, the Oscar-winning actress was fascinated by the stunning timepieces and historical context of OMEGA’s devotion to ladies’ watchmaking.
The horological house also introduced “Time for Her“, a new online diary for women, filled with portraits, interviews and inspiration and including articles by Garance Dore.
