Over 120,000 pieces of individually wrapped chocolate creates “La Crèche en Chocolat” by Chantilly Chocolatier
“La Crèche en Chocolat” – The Chocolate Nativity Scene was unveiled this Christmas season by Chantilly Chocolatier at CityMall, Dora, just north of Beirut, Lebanon. Created by 37 designers and craftsmen, using over 120,000 individually wrapped pieces of chocolate, the life-size nativity scene is the first of its kind in Lebanon and internationally. All pieces of chocolate will be donated to various local charity organizations.
Built on 750+ sq. feet (70 sq. m) it took more than 720 hours of work to complete the chocolate nativity scene.
Chantilly Chocolatier was founded in 1963, expanding its reach to the Middle East in the beginning of the 1980’s. With a wide variety of tantalizing palate treats Chantilly’s chocolates have become synonymous with the excellence and luxury that every chocolate gourmet seeks.
“La Crèche en Chocolat” will remain on display until January 8, 2012 at CityMall, Dora Lebanon.
