The world of Gucci for NET-A-PORTER Capsule Collection.
Gucci’s rose prints are the stars of a new capsule collection available in only one place. Gucci for Net-A-Porter exclusive capsule collection designed by Alessandro Michele features a 20-piece lineup of ready-to-wear, bags and accessories with a tapestry-inspired rose print. The capsule features new interpretations of Gucci classics such as the Dionysus bag and Ace trainers.
“For this special collection, I took a playful approach with our flowers and old tapestries. I loved the idea of bringing what I like to the NET-A-PORTER woman, to magnify my aesthetic and point of view through a collection. This is a real union of Gucci and NET-A-PORTER.” explained Gucci Creative Director Alessandro Michele.
Some items like the “Dionysus medium floral-print leather shoulder bag” (€1,980) are already sold out. The 20-piece collection ranges from $465 for small items to $5,300 for a red silk organza gown.
“Our customer cannot seem to get enough of Gucci,” explained Alison Loehnis, president of Net-A-Porter and Mr Porter. “Working on the exclusive project has been a thrill and we’re incredibly excited to be launching this global first on Net-A-Porter. Alessandro has an immense talent and vision, and, as we’ve come to expect from him, the collection is exquisite,” added Loehnis.
