A jaw-dropping $40,000—that’s what it will cost visitors to stay overnight in New York City’s most expensive hotel suite this September. NewYorkHotels.org has just published a new report that ranks the 10 costliest hotel suites in Manhattan. In coming up with the rankings, the site used the average rate at each establishment throughout the month of September as the basis of comparison.
The following table shows the 10 most expensive hotel suites in New York City along with their nightly rates for September 2013.
1. Ty Warner Penthouse (Four Seasons Hotel) $40,000
Soaring above the city, the Ty Warner Penthouse designed by I.M. Pei and Peter Marino is the highest hotel suite in Manhattan at 800 feet above the street.
