Alfa Romeo 4C Concept Gets Updated for Frankfurt
Alfa Romeo gave us our first glimpse at the 4C Concept in Geneva earlier this year. The 4C Concept is a mid-engined, two-seater that weighs only around 1,800 pounds thanks to the extensive use of carbon fiber andaluminum. The concept is powered by a turbocharged 1.75L engine that pumps out more than 200 horsepower. Although Alfa Romeo hasn’t released the official specs of the engine, the concept can reach 0-60 mph in less than five seconds and has a top speed of 155 mph.
Alfa Romeo is showing off the 4C Concept again at the Frankfurt Motor Show next month. The most immediate update is the change from the bright red exterior color on the original concept, to a new “liquid metal.” When the 4C is eventually released in the U.S., pricing is expected to be around $60,000.
