The shared passion for artistry and superior craftsmanship led Aquazzura and Swarovski to collaborate for the launch of a new Capsule Collection, as part of the celebrations for Aquazzura’s 10th Anniversary. A mesmerizing new shoe design, the Aura sandal, defined by an essential and utterly feminine silhouette, elevated by a sculpturesque heel encrusted with Swarovski crystals.

“For the concept behind the shoes, I wanted this style to be all about the crystals and woman’s legs… a woman walking in crystals and nothing else. We developed special colourways and stones for this collaboration. My favourite one is the fuchsia crystal in the different shades which is something that I haven’t seen before I love how it changes color accordingly to how the light hits it.” – Edgardo Osorio, the Founder and Creative Director of Aquazzura.

Each model stands as a unique jewelry piece, exquisitely handmade in Italy, which features an ankle strap irradiated with shining square-cut crystals. The absolute protagonist is the heel with embedded faceted maxi crystals with octagonal-cut – created exclusively by Swarovski Creators Lab for this limited edition – that dazzle at every step.

Sublime details and exceptional quality are key attributes of the Aura sandal which is translated into five wonder colors and material combinations: the boldly-chic laminated nappa leather in Very Peri, a blazing, metallic Lime Green hue, the tropical Bougainvillea Pink satin pair, and the absolutely stunning transparent plexi version in shimmering Silver or sumptuous Soft Gold.

Made in Italy from smooth satin in vibrant bouganvillea, the open-toe style in pink is embellished with glittery gems and is finished on a crystal-encrusted heel. The party-ready design works with everything from denim to dresses.

Aquazzura announced HRH Princess Olympia of Greece as the new brand ambassador

In July, Aquazzura announced the appointment of HRH Princess Olympia of Greece and Denmark as the new Brand Ambassador.
