The concept for Armin Strom Pure Resonance Ultimate Sapphire was born out of Horomariobro’s desire to have a one-of-a-kind Armin Strom Resonance timepiece in his esteemed collection. Known for his meticulous attention to detail and unrivaled macro photography, Horomariobro’s discerning eye separates extraordinary haute horlogerie finishes from the ordinary. With tens of thousands of followers on Instagram, he has gained a revered position among watch collectors, making his collaboration with Armin Strom all the more significant.
The Pure Resonance Ultimate Sapphire stands out as the most minimalist Resonance timepiece produced by Armin Strom in their fully integrated manufacture in Biel/Bienne. To fulfill Horomariobro’s vision, a sapphire dial was applied, resulting in a visually striking and highly symmetrical design. In a bold move, the small seconds and Armin Strom’s historical lip on the case at 6 o’clock were removed, creating a clean and uncluttered aesthetic. Even the logo was omitted, with only a subtle AS symbol engraved on a movement component, further emphasizing the watch’s minimalist appeal.
