Skydivers take Mumm Grand Cordon to daring new heights
What would you dare to do for the ultimate victory? Mumm chamapgne, part of Martell Mumm Perrier-Jouët, the prestigious cognac and champagne business of Pernod Ricard, the world’s n°2 in wines and spirits, is no stranger to the outer limits of daring achievement.
At Diani Beach in Kenya, Mumm Grand Cordon became the first champagne in history to celebrate the thrill of diving through the air at maximum speed of 250 km/h. By accompanying France’s freeflying team Air Wax in this one-of-a-kind feat of daring, Maison Mumm is continuing to push back the boundaries of celebration. After jumping at an altitude of 5,000m, the 3 French freeflyers opened bottles of Mumm Grand Cordon as they plunged towards the ground, before opening their chutes and floating down to a celebratory beach party.
Moët & Chandon 2018 Rose Capsule Collection
For Spring 2018, Moët & Chandon released its Rose Capsule Collection. This limited edition is an unconventional & contemporary tribute to Madame de Pompadour, the 18th century ‘it girl’, who declared the success of the Maison at the French royal court.
The champagne bottle design offers an unexpected peek into these extravagant courts’ times during a royal masquerade ball, reinterpreting their codes with a contemporary style.
The playful catwalk of characters is surrounded by generous fully bloomed roses, mirroring the floral nuances of rose featured in the Moët Rosé Imperial bewitching bouquet. Available at selective retailers and at the trendiest lounge bars, Moët & Chandon 2018 Rose Capsule Collection celebrates any shades of love.
Exclusive Martell Metaphore Blend
Martell presents a one-of-a-kind exclusive edition, that captures the heritage and craftsmanship of the House of Martell.
Inspired by Martell’s history, Christophe Valtaud, the Cellar Master of the House created a unique Martell cognac, from four exceptional eaux-de-vie which were preserved in the most prestigious cellar of the House, the Chai Jean Martell. The vintage eau-de-vie from 1898, masterpiece of Martell’s collection, was selected by Augustin Chapeau, first Cellar Master of the House, from the personal vineyards of Madame Martell. This unique vintage is assembled with three eaux-de-vie aged from 1911 to 1920. The result is an invitation to explore the heart of the extraordinary Grande Champagne Terroir. A secret recipe which reveals a refined and intense cognac with otes of red fruits, almonds and pecans.
To showcase this one-of-a-kind exclusive blend, a unique piece of art was created hand in hand with Les Grands Ateliers de France, which reunites the greatest French artisans. Inspired by Cognac’s countryside and terroir, the presentation case reflects the Grande Champagne’s curves, a modern reading of the region’s particular geography, interpreted by Thierry Drevelle, cabinetmaker and founder of the Ateliers Drevelle.
