The 2024 Fragrance Foundation Awards were a night to remember, celebrating the magic and artistry of scents. Held to commemorate the 75th anniversary of The Fragrance Foundation (TFF), the sold-out ceremony was a vibrant showcase of creativity, craftsmanship, and community within the fragrance industry.
Honouring Legends and Visionaries
The evening kicked off with a nod to two industry giants. Gilles Andrier, CEO of Givaudan, received the prestigious Hall of Fame Award, marking the first time a fragrance house has earned this honor. Andrier’s acceptance speech was heartfelt, emphasizing the joy of creating scents that enrich lives and the privilege of working with talented perfumers.
Master Perfumer Jacques Cavallier-Belletrud of Bvlgari and Louis Vuitton was celebrated with the Lifetime Achievement Perfumer Award. His work has transported countless people on olfactory journeys, and the exclusive scent “Rose Fields,” which filled the gala entrance, was a nostalgic homage to his childhood in Grasse, France.
