Since its founding in 1822, Maison BOVET has maintained close ties with collectors in the United States, representing two hundred years of trans-Atlantic friendship. The most prestigious shops in North America now represent BOVET 1822 and bear witness to this commitment. The artisans of BOVET 1822 have manufactured an Amadéo Fleurier 44 Notre Dame dedicated solely to American collectors.
The unprecedented combination of complications of this Bovet Notre Dame Unique Piece is fitted into the extraordinary Amadéo convertible case patented by BOVET 1822 in 2010. The system makes it possible to wear the timepiece on the wrist or to transform it into a pocket watch or a table clock without the use of a single tool. This plurality of use justifies the presence of the tourbillon more than any other contemporary timekeeping instrument.
Each of the timepiece’s complications is a watchmaking feat in itself. Grouping them together in a single timepiece while preserving excellent ergonomics, represents an enormous technical achievement. This unique example of the Notre Dame model combines a tourbillon performing a complete rotation in sixty seconds, a minute repeater, an automaton and, moreover, simultaneously displays three time zones in the Amadéo convertible case. Together, the complications of this unique Notre Dame model represent the height of chronometric precision and artistic ingenuity.
Grand Récital awarded at the Middle East Watch & Jewellery Of The Year Awards 2018.
Maison BOVET was once again awarded by the Middle East Watch and Jewellery of the Year Awards. Launched in May 2018, the Récital 22 Grand Récital, five times patented, attracted the experts’ attention, awarding it the “Best Design Watch Prize 2018”. Over the past ten years, the Maison BOVET has won 28 prizes and filed 17 patents.
In 2016, BOVET astonished collectors with the unveiling of the Récital 18 Shooting Star, which revolutionized watchmaking design by combining its movement with a registered design asymmetrical case. A year later, BOVET reprised this incredible celestial timepiece with the Récital 20 Astérium, which borrowed the Récital 18 original case architecture. The Récital 22 Grand Récital forms the third chapter in the poetic watchmaking narrative begun by Pascal Raffy and the Maison’s artisans two years ago. Together, they now invite us to observe the three heavenly bodies that set the pace of our lives: the sun, earth, and moon.
