The Chinese-owned Italian jewellery and watches company Buccellati officially expanded into China with the opening of its very first boutique at Plaza 66 in Shanghai. The luxurious store features modern design elements matched with the signature Buccellati windows, gilt panels and mercury glass mirrors.
To celebrate the opening of its very first jewelry boutique at Plaza 66 in Shanghai, Buccellati hosted a grand opening ceremony followed by a gala dinner in the presence of international actress and brand ambassador Zhang Ziyi, and influential Chinese fashion blogger Gogoboi.
More than a hundred guests walked down the red carpet to attend the gala dinner held at the Shanghai Exhibition Centre. Venetian art kaleidoscope patterns were projected onto the ceiling of the historic landmark, paying tribute to the luxury brand’s rich traditions and Renaissance heritage. Models were seen elegantly posing in Buccellati’s One of a Kind Collection, while guests were entertained by an enthralling dance showcase featuring dancers twirling gracefully in Buccellati’s exquisite high jewellery pieces.
Buccellati also unveiled The Labyrinth High Jewelry capsule collection for WAKO featuring seven one-of-a-kind pieces, all embellished with diamonds dotting Buccellati iconic workmanships, such as tulle patterns and “rigato” engravings.
