Ora Ito’s kitchen accessories for Guzzini
Heineken, Adidas, Sagem and Nike, a signature Hôtel O, all these collaborations are found in the portfolio of the French designer Ora Ito. The latest partnership includes a collection of kitchen accessories produced for Guzzini and presented at Paris interior decoration and design trade show Maison & Objet (January 18-22).
From the colors to the new materials, the line breathes Ito’s favorite themes and was “designed to be used (and re-used)”. The weighing scales, a bread cutting board and two dish-draining racks have a futuristic design with functional parts carved in white opaque and translucent red plastic with a double injection technique. Forms and simple gestures that strive to make everyday a special moment give an illusion of levitation.
