Baselworld 2017: Fendi unveils IShine collection. The new watches infuse time with light, celebrating the timeless elegance of precious stones.
Fendi celebrated the grand-opening of a new boutique in Sydney, Australia with a chic dinner party at the iconic Sydney Opera House. From LIVE custom paintings in the windows of Harrods London to new Fendi Leisurewear revealed in Courcheval, the Italian luxury brand offers an agenda full of launches this month.
At Baselworld 2017 in Basel, Switzerland, Fendi Watch division unveiled the new IShine collection of timepieces that combines Italian aesthetics with Swiss craftsmanship. A re-imagination of Fendi Crazy Carats collection, this exquisitely feminine collection features Swiss Made components that become sparking jewels.
A proof that elegance has many faces.
Crazy Carats watches with colorful diamonds and gemstones were designed to match a woman’s emotions and moods simply by twisting the crown to change the color of the gemstones on the dial. The Gemstone mechanism was activated by the twist of the crown: 1 diamond at 12 o’clock (approx. 0.07 carat), 33 white, pink and
Paraiba topazes (approx. 2.84 carats).
The two new 2017 elegant watches in the Fendi IShine collection are inspired by the eternal power of light and the sparkle of gemstones. The audacious architecture of the Fendi IShine case is both concave and convex, defining a pronounced new shape. It changes according to the wearer’s mood thanks to a rotating crown revealing three different gemstone color configurations.
The first version has a black lacquered dial enhanced by a faceted cabochon with bezel and case flanks plated in 18-karat gold. The satin-brushed stainless steel bracelet has faceted 18-karat gold plated central links. The second model, in polished and satin-brushed stainless steel, has a white lacquered dial and a pink topaz-set crown and pink soft-touch flanks. The pink stitched leather strap is edged with matching pink matt rubber and lined with calfskin.
