Baccarat luxury maison celebrated the art of navigation and perfection with its first SUPERYACHT WORLD TROPHY in Monaco where the magnificent MATESE FALCON was rewarded.
The stunning Perini Navi sailing yacht Maltese Falcon was today presented with the first Baccarat SuperYacht World trophy at the Monaco Yacht Show, after topping SuperYacht World’s poll for the Finest Superyacht Ever.
The trophy, created by Baccarat in its tradition of perfection, was handed to the Elena Ambrosiadou – owner of Maltese Falcon – by SuperYacht World editor Paul Ashton in front of a gathering of industry heads.
“It gives me immense pleasure to give this award to such an iconic yacht that has captured the imagination of so many superyacht owners and designers since her launch in 2006.” said SuperYacht World editor Paul Ashton.
“Baccarat is very proud to have partnered with the SuperYacht World magazine to create this trophy. This collaboration demonstrates both the innovation in the ever-creative yachting industry and in the excellence of the Baccarat’s craftsmanship,” said Sophie Cotelle, Lighting and Furniture Business Unit Vice-President.
