It’s fitting, then, that the legendary Raffles Hotels & Resorts has chosen this vibrant metropolis as the canvas for their inaugural venture into North America. The result? Raffles Boston, a 35-story sustainable new-build hotel and residence that promises to redefine luxury living in the Back Bay neighborhood.

Stepping into Raffles Boston is like entering an oasis in the heart of the bustling Back Bay.

Upon arrival, guests are greeted by a three-story Sky Lobby on the 17th floor, with an iconic Grand Stair spiraling through the atrium—a nod to Raffles’ rich heritage. But this lobby isn’t just a place to check-in; it’s a space designed for socializing, where you’ll find four distinct food and beverage venues.

For those with a taste for culinary excellence, Amar by Chef George Mendes offers modern Portuguese cuisine influenced by Boston’s seafaring culture. The Long Bar & Terrace, a masterpiece by Paolo Ferrari, pairs cocktails with sweeping views of the South End. And if you’re in the mood for something clandestine, the Speakeasy serves up specially crafted cocktails and small bites.

A Hub of Culture and Luxury

Raffles Boston’s location reinforces the city’s global reputation as a top-tier international destination. Situated next to The University Club and adjacent to Boston’s Back Bay train station, it’s within a stone’s throw of Copley Square, Trinity Church, and premiere luxury shopping at Copley Place. The iconic Newbury Street, the Museum of Fine Arts, Fenway Park, and Symphony Hall are just a few of the notable attractions in the vicinity.

A Collaborative Vision

Behind this masterpiece is a team of visionaries. The Architectural Team (TAT) Inc. designed the building’s exterior, while the hospitality design firm Stonehill Taylor crafted the hotel rooms and several amenity spaces. The acclaimed Rockwell Group brought the Fitness Center and Spa, as well as the Raffles Residences, to life.

The development team is a partnership of locals Jordan Warshaw of The Noannet Group and hotelier Gary Saunders of Saunders Hotel Group, alongside their global development and equity partner Cain International, with Madison Realty Capital providing construction financing.
