Its blue dial adorned with a Clous de Paris hobnail pattern, against which the white indications stand out in striking contrast, sets the final touch to this resolutely modern timepiece.

The Calibre GP01800-0033 features a very useful complication, developed and manufactured in-house that displays the date, days, months and leap years in a unique and distinctive way, making the information very easy to read. This complication only needs to be adjusted once a century thanks to its mechanical memory of 1’461 days, which corresponds to 4 years.

Carved from a 42 mm diameter steel block, alternately polished and satin-finished, the Laureato Perpetual Calendar it is attached to the wrist with a bracelet of the same nature, finish and quality.

The functions of the Laureato Perpetual Calendar include hours, minutes, centre seconds, date, perpetual calendar with date, day, month and leap year indicators.

Last month, Girard-Perregaux & Farfetch jointly unveiled the first special series for women – Laureato 34mm Quartz with date – exclusively sold on the luxury e-commerce platform. The 34 mm diameter stainless steel Laureato model with a quartz movement featured a particularly elegant pink gold-toned dial adorned with a “Clous de Paris” hobnail motif, and a white rubber strap.
