World-renowned for offering the best in British fashion and design Harrods luxury store department is celebrating the BFC/Vogue Designer Fashion Fund 2016 with the launch of London Calling.
A showcase of exclusive launches and exciting in-store events, London Calling sees Harrods’ Brompton Road windows transformed to reveal key new season and exclusive pieces from leading British brands, including Alexander McQueen, Anya Hindmarch, Burberry and Victoria Beckham.
On Friday 19th February, Nicholas Kirkwood will be making a personal appearance to launch a spectacular colour wheel featuring the brand’s Beya loafer. The installation, in Harrods Shoe Heaven on the Fifth Floor, will feature the shoe in a kaleidoscope of colours and textures, with an exclusive limited-edition, laser-cut loafer in white and a crystal loafer in black.
On Thursday 25th February, Stella McCartney will be making a personal appearance from 12 noon. Customers will have the chance to meet the designer, and a dedicated space on the First Floor will be transformed into the ‘World of Stella’, with old-school arcade games and a photo booth. In addition, throughout the week, personalisation will be complimentary with the purchase of Stella McCartney lingerie and fragrance.
Plus, newly-launched accessories brand Hill & Friends’ official bellboy has made a special trip to Knightsbridge to deliver the Happy Chain bag, available exclusively at Harrods and located in Luxury Accessories on the Lower Ground Floor.
