Gucci expanded its ultimate personalization service DIY for jackets, shoes and bags. During Milan men’s fashion week, the windows of the Gucci Montenapoleone store in Milan were dedicated to the new customization services for tailoring, jackets and shoes.
The customized men’s tailoring allows customers can create their own suit choosing from a wide range of fabrics and buttons, selected by Alessandro Michele. Symbols from Alessandro Michele’s design canon—a heart with a dagger, a flower, a bee, and the snake can be embroidered onto shirt cuffs or collars. Initials can be embroidered on cashmere and wool knits together with a Gucci symbol.
Evening wear suits can also be customized, including an optional printed internal waistband, and silk foulard lining in the jacket.
The new Gucci DIY service includes customizable details on embroidered tailored, denim, leather and silk jackets. Customize an embroidered 14 oz. Japanese denim jacket with a light or dark wash, silk or shearling lining, a lineup of diverse patches and a monogram letter appliquéd to the sleeve. Here a look at the styles.

Customers can also design their own Gucci Dionysus bag. Gucci DIY will extend to other flagships in major fashion cities and other products from the House including the Ace sneaker, Princetown slipper and men’s made-to-order suits.
