Every year Guerlain perfume house celebrates the first of May with a limited edition of its famous Muguet. On Tuesday 1st May, Guerlain will be launching the annual exclusive edition version of Muguet fragrance and will be available to purchase for one day only. To celebrate the month of May, it is adorned with an exquisite jewellery piece (a necklace and charm) created by French house Gripoix. In 2012 Muguet comes in the iconic Guerlain “quadrilobe” bottle once more, a shape designed at the very start of the 20th century.
The fragrance includes notes of Lily of the valley – a flower, which is traditionally given to loved ones in France on the first day of May, which many believe to be the most beautiful month of the year. The Muguet 2012 fragrance is available exclusively in-store at Harrods and Guerlain (€385). Gurlain produced only 1250 bottles.
