New luxury hotels are blooming in Vienna. Palais Hansen Kempinski Vienna will open next spring, while the Park Hyatt Vienna is scheduled to open late in 2013. The latest grand opening is brought to the historical city by Ritz-Carlton.
The 202-room Ritz-Carlton Vienna hotel opened at the end of the August is company’s first hotel in Austria and its ninth in Europe. It is also the 80th property in the portfolio of the luxury brand worldwide.
Located on the central Schubertring Boulevard, the hotel is composed of four historic palaces dating back to the 19th century. The location has restored marble staircase, historical chimney, decorative mural paintings with wood carvings and paneling.
One of the Ritz-Carlton Viena attraction is the Guerlain spa that offers six treatment rooms with two of them for couples. The recreational amenities include a 18-meter indoor pool, a fitness room, sauna and steam rooms. A night in this palaces will cost you from 359 euros for a double room.
In 2012, Ritz-Carlton hospitality group has opened properties in Montreal and on the island of Okinawa in Japan.
