In a post for iVillage.com, First Lady, who is the website’s guest editor this month, revealed her healthy living secrets. The daily health routine include keeping her weight at a certain level, not by always counting calories, but with a moderation of calorie intake and a workout in every day. “I’ve found that as I get older… I don’t like to diet. I like food. I don’t like to have to worry and count every calorie… I just don’t like to live that way,” Michelle Obama wrote.
First Lady rises at 4:30 or 5 every morning to hit the gym even when on the road. Michelle has a rubber band and a jump rope in her luggage to make sure she can always squeeze in a workout, even if only for 30 minutes.
Michelle’s guilty pleasure was also unveiled. “If there are French fries in the vicinity, I’m done. It’s over,” First Lady said.
