The first Horizon E88 open bridge motoryacht was unveiled during 2015 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. Five additional new yachts –P110 superyacht, E84 motoryacht, E78 motoryacht, PC60 power catamaran, and PC52 power catamaran –were also available for viewing.
“We have had great success with the E88 skylounge model but the first open bridge with a beach club brings something new to the table for clients,” said Roger Sowerbutts, Director of Horizon Yacht USA. “Not only does it showcase Horizon’s capabilities as a builder but also the E88’s flexibility to be suited to various lifestyles.”
Making her global debut, the Horizon E88 open bridge arose from client feedback on the previous skylounge versions, announced the builder.
Her four en suite stateroom layout has been designed to maximize the 21’ beam, incorporating a full-beam master, twin guest staterooms, and VIP stateroom in the bow; separate crew quarters are aft of the engines. The open bridge configuration offers a fantastic spot for entertaining, with a large U-shaped dinette, full wet bar, and plenty of room aft for lounge chairs or a tender. One of the E88’s more notable exterior features is her aft beach club area, a popular design not usually seen on mid-range motoryachts; the beach club’s hydraulic garage door combines with the Hi/Lo swim platform to provide an easy transition into watersports. Forward on the bow, a newly-design dinette and sunpads are perfect for days at anchor. The E88 is equipped with twin CAT C32 1900HP engines as well as zero speed stabilizers, bow/stern thrusters, Hamann waste treatment system, and more.
Luxury on every level is the theme behind the Horizon P110 tri-deck superyacht. Her 23’6” beam accommodates four en suite guest accommodations as well as separate crew quarters below deck.
The main deck flows easily between the salon and formal dining areas into the fully-equipped galley and country kitchen. The enclosed skylounge offers a full helm, and the boat deck is expansive with dining and a wet bar, plus space for water toys, as well as access to the flybridge’s secondary helm and Jacuzzi.
The smaller sister to the Horizon E88 model, the Horizon E84 motoryacht will suit the needs of either an experienced owner/operator or an owner looking for a traditional crewed lifestyle. Numerous interior and exterior spaces offer spots to host family and friends on board, and her 20’ beam provides four total guest staterooms plus crew quarters aft. She is equipped with everything needed for island travel including, zero speed stabilizers, hydraulic Hi/Lo swim platform, and bow and stern thrusters.
Cruising in various North and South locations is easily conquered with the new Horizon E78 motoryacht; one of Horizon’s latest innovative designs, the E78 features a hydraulic hard top and radar mast that lowers her overall height from 28’ to 20’6”, allowing her to fit under fixed bridges on the Intracoastal and the Great Lakes. Her three-stateroom layout includes a full-beam Master and separate crew quarters aft, and the lower pilothouse affords a secondary spot, protected from the elements, to pilot the E78 from New England to Florida and beyond.
Built for second-time Horizon PC60 owners, “Ptolemy” was designed for extensive Bahamas cruising. The owners opted for a four stateroom layout to accommodate family and friends, and the open bridge version suits their island-destination lifestyle; they even added rod holders on the aft deck for their fishing adventures.
