A fully interactive experience, virtual attendees can set the scene, dress up, pour a glass of Champagne and mingle with in-room guests and of course, toast the married couple.

The Balmoral, a Rocco Forte hotel, in Edinburgh has launched a unique Hybrid Wedding Experience, offering couples the chance to bring loved ones together with virtual guests in a newly designed celebration.

The Balmoral Hybrid Wedding Experience allows the couple to communicate directly with their virtual guests and
see them in real-time as they tie the knot. Catering for up to 20, socially distanced in-room guests and up to 200
virtual guests from anywhere in the world, the hybrid wedding experience helps loved ones join you on your special
day, from the comfort of their own home.

Dial-in guests will receive a personalised order of service and instructions to connect to the wedding party. For all
those at home, a wedding favour gift box can be delivered ahead of the service, including Champagne and a slice
of wedding cake, thoughtfully designed by The Balmoral’s very own pastry chef, delivered to doorsteps to ensure
each guest can join the celebration in real-time. Couples can also opt to add a keepsake wedding favour from
Edinburgh Jeweller and Silversmith, Hamilton & Inches or a whisky tasting from the hotel’s very own Whisky
Ambassador, who can cater to all guests, virtual and in the room.

that celebrate their union, with a luxurious, unforgettable and truly personal day, without too much compromise on
who can attend. While not everyone can be there in person, the ability for vast virtual dial-ins, means that no one will
miss this special moment. We will ensure it is a cherished and unforgettable day – every detail will be taken great

With a present celebrant, the legal service can be fully personalised and broadcasted live to virtual guests who can
each receive a recording of the experience. Ahead of their special day, couples will receive a one-to-one consultation with The Balmoral’s dedicated wedding planner and an expert technician, ensuring they rest assured that sound and visuals will be of the highest standard whilst they exchange their vows. The flexibility of the space allows couples to create a stunning bespoke backdrop to their ceremony, with a unique name and date visual and personal imagery surrounding them, all within the romantic setting of The Balmoral’s Holyrood Suite. Couples can also mark the occasion with breathtaking photography on the rooftop of the hotel, below the iconic clock tower and with the spectacular Edinburgh skyline in shot.
