This May and June, Christie’s New York holds its biannual Luxury Week, during which the finest jewels, handbags, and watches converge at the storied Rockefeller Center galleries. From the Chrysler Diamond with its distinguished provenance and Surrealism-inspired Cartier Crash to the rare Hermès Faubourg Birkin, Christie’s is the destination for luxury this season.

Christie’s “Handbags & Accessories: The New York Edition, 26 May – 9 June 2021” auction features nearly 200 pieces from the world’s top luxury fashion houses, in a variety of colors and styles to catch the eye of new and established luxury collectors alike.
Leading the sale is a Himalaya Birkin 35 ($80,000-100,000), alongside two Faubourg Birkin bags ($80,000-100,000) and a variety of elegant exotics in hues across the entire color spectrum. Other Hermès highlights include two Cargo Birkin bags ($15,000-20,000), two Picnic Kelly 35s ($20,000-26,000), a Rainbow Sunrise Sellier Birkin 35 ($12,000-15,000), a Shearling Teddy Kelly 35 ($20,000-26,000), a Metallic Gold Kelly Pochette ($8,000-10,000), Mini Kelly 20 IIs, and Custom iterations.
For the second time, Christie’s presents a selection of impressive pieces from the Collection of JaneFinds, including a rare Ombré Salvator Lizard Kelly 25 ($24,000-30,000), a futuristic Light Up LED Keepall Bandoulière by Louis Vuitton ($24,000 -30,000) and a So Black Calfbox Leather Birkin 35 ($15,000-20,000). Alongside this outstanding selection of handbags, this auction also features accessories, fashion jewelry and lifestyle pieces including a bicycle by Hermès ($1,000-2,000), surfboard by Chanel ($8,000-10,000), watering can by Fendi ($1,500-2,400), and more, bringing together unique and collectible styles for all occasions, with the spirit of Summer in mind.
The Christie’s New York online auction will feature an attractive offering of timepieces from the most reputable and glamourous brands such as Patek Philippe, Cartier and Rolex.
