Dior Skyline 2016 Fall Collection: This couture colours and effects palette is architecturally sculpting the face.
Light and shade are the best artists when it comes to architecturally sculpt the face and masterfully shape our features. Dior Beauty is making contouring easier to master than ever before with the new Skyline makeup collection. Designed by Creative and Image Director, Peter Philips, the new colour line is drawing inspiration from the Eiffel Tower’s structure.
The two limited editions of the Dior Skyline 2016 Fall palette boast the geometric lace design found on the Eiffel Tower’s iron structure.
“For daytime, use the warm beiges over the lid and chocolate shades along the lashes,” suggests Dior’s International Makeup Artist, Jamie Coombes. “Then for evening, dress it up with the rich plum over the lid, blending outward and take it along the lower lash line.”
The new dual-ended Diorblush Light & Contour will help draw shade on the chin, cheeks and temples. Dior Flash Luminizer will illuminate eyes and enhance the lip contour, while the intense Diorshow Brow Chalk will be used for well-defined brows.
A must for “a figure who aspires to explore every possibility, who likes to play with illusion,” according to Peter Philips, “Skyline” is not only an ode to Parisian architecture, but to the enduring elegance of the Dior woman. “This is one of the most exciting collections I have ever had the pleasure of working with,” says Coombes, “It is full of so many fabulous textures and rich autumnal hues. There is something for everyone.”
Dior Skyline is available in an exclusive prelaunch at Harrods in London.
