From November, Gucci luxury fashion home will offer made-to-measure services for men. Bespoke tailoring will be available in 11 Gucci boutiques. Customers will be able to customize their suits and the service will be also available for shirts and shoes.
The ad campaign that promotes the new exclusive service has James Franco as the central character. The Spiderman star, was photographed by Nathaniel Goldberg at Cinecittà film studios in Rome. According to Frida Giannini statements, Gucci’s creative director, “James has an innate ability to fuse classic elegance with contemporary style and interpret formalwear in an individual way, true to the spirit of our Made-to-Measure service,”
Gucci is a fan of James Franco from 2008, when the actor signed for a “Gucci by Gucci pour Homme” perfume campaign.
Made-to-measure suits will start at ~2160 euros. Customers will be able to choose from 178 possible combinations of colours and fabrics, with little extras – like a satin lining or diamante embroidery – on offer too.
