Inspired by its legendary, luxurious Tiffany Blue, Peninsula Bangkok’s Executive Pastry Chef Nicolas Pelloie presented Thailand’s first-ever Tiffany Afternoon Tea, which provides a rich experience for both your taste buds and your eyes.
Served in The Lobby, this special Tiffany Afternoon Tea is showcasing Tiffany Blue and exquisite details on delicacies representing the legendary colour. The 12 artistically prepared, hand-crafted pieces reflect the legend of Tiffany blue, its sense of glamour and luxury, and the traditions of high-class afternoon tea.
Highlights include the New York Cheese Cake shaped like a present box, which represents an iconic blue box; Blueberry Cupcakes, known as a favourite of New Yorkers; Vanilla Strawberry Mousseline Roll Cake, featuring a sponge cake; the famous deli-style Pastrami sandwich, which is a bagel sandwich that New York is known for; Foie Gras Brioche with Ginger, Apple and Strawberry Marmalade; and last but not least, Coconut Buttercream Macaroon in Tiffany Blue with silver sugar to make it look like a wedding ring.
The luxury Bangkok hotel, in association with Tiffany & Co. and Vera Wang Singapore, also presented the first- ever Tiffany & Co.-themed wedding presentation in Thailand. For a celebration honouring Tiffany & Co. 130 years as the world’s most famous engagement ring, a stunning collection of jewellery, including the legendary engagement ring, was presented at a special event featuring a Tiffany & Co.-inspired wedding cake and much more.
