For the fourth year in a row, Swiss Innovation will be on display at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. Switzerland Global Enterprise and Presence Switzerland will showcase 15 exciting Swiss start-ups on visitor-friendly interactive Swisstech pavilion demonstrating why Switzerland has once again topped the Global Index for Innovation.

The breadth and depth of innovation is astonishing reflecting the country’s vibrant start-up scene. On the Swiss Pavilion there will be many world-firsts. Visitors can meet interactive avatars, type without tears, finally organize their e-wallets, marvel at how the visually impaired can move more freely, unblock snaffled chains, smart test their hydration levels while sipping perfectly brewed tea.

Meet the Biped AI copilot – a copilot device, that brings autonomous driving capabilities to humans.

biped is the world’s first AI copilot for blind and visually impaired people, bringing autonomous driving features to humans. It predicts your surroundings a few seconds ahead and generates intuitive feedback through spatial sounds. Wear it on your shoulders, pair it with the headphones of your choice, and start hearing what matters around you. Thanks to its 3D cameras, biped will identify the surrounding objects and obstacles, predict their trajectories, and filter the most important information.

Biospectal to Debut Biodisc and Launch OptiBP for iOS Public Beta at CES 2022

Biodisc is a sleekly-designed, discreet, stand-alone, all-in-one blood pressure monitoring device that allows users to measure their vital signs via their fingertip — quickly, accurately and without the hassle of a traditional blood pressure cuff. It is a tech-free device that works together with the Biospectal OptiBP app and extends the reach of Biospectal’s blood pressure monitoring platform. Biodisc’s core technology uses an optical sensor to record a photoplethysmography (PPG) signal at the fingertip, which is then converted into a user’s vital signs by a series of algorithms. Biodisc is particularly well suited for people who are less comfortable with smartphone technology or complicated gadgets. The device is always ready-to-use, cloud connected, shareable and usable between multiple users.

Biodisc is also envisaged to be used in medical clinics and hospitals, where patients will be able to authenticate themselves via a fingerprint reader.
