Lufthansa introduces Lufthansa Private Jet service to North America
Beginning with February 1, 2012 Lufthansa will introduce its premium Lufthansa Private Jet service to the North American market. Made possible by an expanded relationship with NetJets the worldwide leader in private aviation, the new service builds upon the popular Lufthansa Private Jet product that is already operated in Europe in conjunction with NetJets Europe.
Lufthansa Private Jet will provide flights tailored to the customer’s itinerary throughout North America on a world-class fleet of aircraft managed and operated by NetJets. Travel can be booked through Lufthansa and in seamless combination with transatlantic flights arriving or departing from the 21 North America destinations serviced by Lufthansa and SWISS or for direct point-to-point travel within the North America coverage area, which includes over 3,000 airports.
“Lufthansa Private Jet has been hugely successful in Europe, enhancing the region’s luxury travel options with service to more than 1,000 destinations in Europe and the Russian Federation,” said Jürgen Siebenrock, Vice President The Americas.
“Lufthansa and NetJets complement each other’s product offerings and, with this partnership expansion, premium passengers in North America can also access the same flexible, convenient and tailored Lufthansa Private Jet experience.”
A Lufthansa First Class document will be issued for your Lufthansa Private Jet flight within the USA, Canada, Mexico or the Caribbean, which will make reimbursement of travel costs much easier. And, of course, your flight will still be charged at an attractive fixed price, based on the aircraft size and estimated flight time.
VIP transfer by limousine is included with a seamless connection to or from your First Class intercontinental flight operated by Lufthansa or SWISS.
