LVMH Watch Brands present the 2021 LVMH Watch Week
Following the success of the inaugural edition of LVMH Watch Week in Dubai last January, LVMH’s Bvlgari, Hublot and Zenith Watches are back with a digital iteration of the event. For a full week industry professionals, press and clients around the world will have a chance to discover new offerings from the luxury watchmaking brands.
For the 2021 edition, the group’s watchmaking Maisons are creatively combining the convenience of digital meetings using state-of-the-art tools with the hands-on experience of one-to-one physical presentations in 15 countries, offering attendees a seamless, informative and interactive experience to discover the four brands’ latest releases.
In just one season the LVMH Watch Week has become a must event for watchmaking industry professionals alongside the traditional watch shows held each year in Switzerland.
LVMH Watch & Jewelry Division CEO, Stéphane Bianchi says that organizing a second edition was a natural move: “Once again we have decided to join forces in order to showcase the strength, innovation and watchmaking skills of the Group’s Watchmaking Brands. The LVMH Watch Week has proved to be an important get together for our industry in order to meet with all our partners beginning of the year and we are very thankful to them for joining us”.
The second edition kicked off with an online press conference on January 25. For the introduction, Stéphane Bianchi was joined by Jean- Christophe Babin, CEO of Bvlgari, Ricardo Guadalupe, CEO of Hublot and Julien Tornare, CEO of Zenith. Each Maison’s CEO will then share the brands’ strategies and unveil new exclusive timepieces.
During this LVMH Watch Week, each of the luxury Maisons will proudly showcase their distinctive philosophy. Jean-Christophe Babin notes that the new creations from Bvlgari express its Estetica Della Meccanica. “Our unique spirit is anchored in jewelry savoir-faire and craftsmanship with iconic and bold designs, fusing the Italian roots of our DNA with incomparable Swiss expertise.” Bvlgari is spotlighting women’s watches, including three new versions of the Serpenti Spiga and their undulating bracelets. Bulgari’s novelties include Octo Roma Carillon Tourbillon, Bulgari Octo Finissimo.
Hublot takes the opportunity to launch a series of novelties showcasing its philosophy of always being “First, Unique, and Different,” notably with the new Big Bang Tourbillon Automatic Orange Sapphire, which is “the perfect expression of Hublot’s Art of Fusion,” says CEO Ricardo Guadalupe. The Swiss watch manufacture is also launching Hublot Big Bang MP-11 in Magic Gold and Blue Sapphire, Hublot Classic Fusion Orlinski, Big Bang One Click, Spirit of Big Bang Beige, and Hublot Spirit of Big Bang Tourbillon 5-Day Power Reserve Carbon White watches.
Hublot’s Art Of Fusion reaches a whole new level with the new Hublot Big Bang Tourbillon Automatic timepiece, available in Orange Sapphire, Texalium and Black Ceramic. Unlike traditional tourbillon movements, equipped with manual winding, this exceptional calibre makes a name for itself thanks to its self-winding system ensuring a minimum power reserve of three days.
