LVMH will train its managers from Singapore, Hong Kong and Shanghai in the first managerial training center outside Europe opened in Singapore.
The LVMH Asia Pacific Talent Development Centre, located in Ngee Ann City on Orchard Road, is a 6,000-square- foot facility building with training rooms, as well as displays of flagship luxury products from LVMH’s portfolio (Louis Vuitton, Guerlain, Bulgari, Berluti, Givenchy, Fendi, Moët et Chandon, TAG Heuer etc.).
The investment on LVMH’s human resources will be extended to mentoring programs, case study sessions and partnerships with the likes of INSEAD’s Singapore campus, the National University of Singapore and Singapore Management University on researching luxury brand management.
27 per cent of the LVMH group’s revenue of nearly 24 billion euros (S$37.9 billion) last year came from the Asia-Pacific – excluding Japan – making the region the largest by sales turnover for the group.
