The rise of vintage luxury pieces has added a new dimension to the fashion landscape.

Heristoria, the LVMH Group’s online platform for vintage luxury pieces is unveiling its “Time to Bloom” selection of millesime pieces emblematic of the heritage of LVMH Maisons. On the occasion of the Chelsea Flower Show, the “haute couture” event of the horticultural world, Heristoria celebrated the dual themes of flowers and film.

Vintage luxury pieces have become a phenomenon in the fashion world, offering a unique blend of timeless elegance and historical significance. LVMH Group, a renowned leader in the luxury industry, is embracing this trend through its online platform called Heristoria. This platform is dedicated to curating and showcasing a collection of vintage luxury pieces, and it has recently unveiled its remarkable “Time to Bloom” selection of millesime pieces that embody the rich heritage of LVMH Maisons.

To celebrate this unveiling, Heristoria chose to participate in the prestigious Chelsea Flower Show, known as the “haute couture” event of the horticultural world. The event highlighted the intertwined themes of flowers and film, creating a captivating ambiance. The Cadogan hotel in London served as the perfect backdrop for this occasion, where Heristoria presented 30 exquisite vintage pieces representing the exceptional savoir-faire of LVMH in jewelry, watches, fashion, and leather goods.

The selection process for this unique collection was guided by three main themes: flowers, inspired by the Chelsea Flower Show; cinema, reflecting the theme of the Chelsea in Bloom festival; and a touch of so-British eccentricity. Laurence Mayer, co-founder of Heristoria, expressed her delight in being able to incorporate these themes into the selection, as they hold significant importance in the history of the partner Maisons.

Guests had the opportunity to discover a preview of this extraordinary collection in the lobby of The Cadogan, which was transformed into a vintage boudoir for the occasion. Additionally, a sumptuous suite was made available for private appointments, allowing guests to experience the beauty and craftsmanship of each piece up close. Every item offered in the Heristoria sale has a unique story to tell. From a stunning 1928 Chaumet art deco brooch adorned with crystal, amethyst, and diamonds to a Fendi Baguette bag featuring daisies from the year 2000, the selection takes enthusiasts on a captivating journey through the decades. One particularly notable treasure is the FRED Star ring in yellow gold, citrine, and diamonds, famously worn by actress Caterina Murino in the James Bond movie “Casino Royale.”

To further enhance their partnership, Heristoria and The Cadogan have collaboratively developed an exclusive experience called “The Treasure Hunt Concierge.” This experience allows guests to gift exceptional vintage pieces that resonate with important moments in their lives. By connecting objects with profound emotional value to personal stories, Heristoria and The Cadogan encapsulate the ethos of celebrating the past alongside the present.
