Two essential needs, food and cloting, are raised to the arts level, through the cook and fashion expert’s sensitivity in the ninth edition of Cook & Fashion gourmet fashion show at the Cristobál Balenciaga Museum in Spain.
Fashion and gastronomy come together in an event that includes emerging and consolidated designers, and a long list of chefs.
Cook & Fashion at the Cristóbal Balenciaga Museum will showcases the designs of five emerging creators: Maider Alzaga, Ali de Bali, Tytti Thusberg, Alex Robe and Iraia Oiartzabal, and a runway with ten pieces from consolidated designers such as Ágatha Ruiz de la Prada, Lemoniez, María Lafuente, Adolfo Domínguez, Petro Valverde, Jose Miró, Andrés Sardá, Victorio y Lucchino and Francis Montesinos. The Arzak family of Arzak restaurant, Joan Roca of El Celler de Can Roca, currently ranked the second best restaurant in the world by Restaurant magazine, and France’s Guy Martin, are among participating chefs.
All the models are paired with the creations of different gastronomic firms from Gipuzkoa.
