Ocean Alexander debuts the new 100’ motoryacht at 2014 Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show.
The new Ocean Alexander 100, designed by Evan K. Marshall, is a natural next step from Ocean Alexander’s highly successful 90 motoryacht. The new OA 100 has been designed with chartering as a high priority. It incorporates a galley that is a stand-out in the industry for this sized vessel and provides the space required for a chef to prepare true gourmet meals.
Overall, the crew quarters has been greatly enlarged, as well as the addition of strategic storage space throughout the vessel.
The OA 100 has formal dining for eight while maintaining an enormous salon seating space. There’s a wet-bar in the salon in addition to a day head on the main deck for ease and convenience. Forward of the galley is a very large settee area for relaxed seating and casual dining.
The OA 100 continues with OA’s highly successful full-beam master stateroom arrangement with his-and-her heads. The forward VIP includes an abundance of storage and hanging locker space. Between the VIP and Master, are two additional guest staterooms with twin berths that convert to a queen. All staterooms are ensuite, providing guests with privacy and convenience.
“With the recent successful sales of three new Ocean Alexander 90 yachts in the first quarter of 2014, we feel very confident that this new model will be very well received,” stated Richard Allender, Director of US Operations. “Several clients have approached us for something new in this size due to limits in dock space, cruising needs, or a variety of other reasons. This new OA 100 will provide those customers with luxuries usually found on larger megayachts while allowing them to keep the yacht in more convenient locations.”
With manufacturing in Taiwan and United States, Ocean Alexander’s combined yacht-building facilities make it among the largest in Asia, producing models ranging from 72 to 155 feet in length. Ocean Alexander is based in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.
