Pasquale Bruni Lotus Flower of the Mandala Collection

The lotus is a sacred flower with ancient ties to the moon, the feminine principle and night. The lotus flower inspired a new range in the Mandala collection by Pasquale Bruni, featuring jewelry pieces pink gold with mother of Pearl, white and brown diamonds, with accents from the Orient. Mandala is a creation with a meditative feel, emerging from a central feature which, in the Italian fine jewellery maker’s collection, is the lotus flower.

Cabochon-cut mother-of-pearl and white and brown diamonds are mounted in a pattern that comes together in a floral ensemble. “The clever pairing of the stones against the burnished pink of the gold creates a light-and-shade effect like the full moon on a dark night. Each piece hides secret details, like the exquisite edging and personal and extremely eye-catching way of setting and marking the stones,” explained Pasquale Bruni experts.

The key piece in the new Mandala Collection is the bracelet with shiny stones on one side and Pasquale Bruni’s signature inlay on the other. This is usually hidden behind the gemstones but in this case, is unmasked to create a secret garden of flower buds made of tiny openwork hearts. The Om Mani Padme Hum mantra, meaning jewel in the lotus flower is engraved on the side of the bracelet.
