Superyacht builder Perini Navi announced the company’s inaugural presence at the Cannes Yachting Festival, from 6-11 September in Cannes, France.
The Perini Navi 38m S/Y Dahlak, designed in collaboration with French Naval Architect Philippe Briand, is the most recent addition to the company’s fleet of 60 yachts and will be prominently on display in the Vieux Port of Cannes for the duration of the yachting show.
This stunning 38m sloop, with its aluminium hull and superstructures, showcases Perini Navi’s latest innovations in single handed sail handling and stored power systems. Dahlak was clearly designed for fast and easy sailing.
S/Y Dahlak, the 60th unit of the Perini Navi fleet, features several technical innovations that illustrate Perini Navi’s commitment to provide Owners with the best technology that enhances performance, sail handling and onboard comfort, including the latest generation of electric captive winches engineered in-house and a Lithium polymer battery system for silent running.
The imposing carbon fibre Rig includes a 51.40m mast combined with 14m furling boom and composite standing rigging for a sail area that exceeds 1870sqm.

Also present in Cannes will be Picchiotti, renowned for the award winning motoryachts 73m Grace E, 50m Exuma and 55m Galileo G, the latter of which is curently navigating the remote Northwest Passage, as is the 56m Perini Navi S/Y Rosehearty.
