Plastic whale creates awareness about the plastic soup
Plastic waste is floating around in the waters of our globe creating a dangerous soup harming the environment. Amsterdam’s Plastic Whale Foundation builds a special boat for the collection of the waste. Plastic Whale is fighting for plastic free waters around the world, but the boat starts in its own backyard: the canals of Amsterdam.
The initiators of the project design a special recycled plastic boat concieved to fight pollution by collecting the plastic waste. The raw construction material consists of plastic bottles gathered on the Amsterdam canals. The project is searching for partners for a long term international fight against the plastic soup.
