Il Gufo, the Italian children’s clothing brand, launched the exclusive Il Gufo Atelier capsule collection with a dedicated pop-up store at Rinascente Milano Piazza Duomo.

Il Gufo’s temporary childrenswear installation has been set up on the fifth floor of the Milanese department store and presented the capsule through a minimal concept with clean lines to highlight the distinctive construction of the Atelier kids garments and selected accessories.

Created in 1980 from a small family-run business,Il Gufo’s girls, boys and baby collections offer unique pieces that are often handmade. Il Gufo children’s dresses have been around since 1980, situated just a few kilometers from Asolo. The luxury house creates Italian-chic childrenswear thanks to their craftsmanship.

The new Il Gufo Atelier collection features ceremonial items made of fine fabrics and constructed in stylishly romantic ways.

Il Gufo Atelier capsule includes several dresses of different volume and length, a pair of matchable coats and a selection of sophisticated accessories.

Silk organza, linen shantung, mikado, tulle, lace and cady join carefully worked details, including hand-cut scalloped hems, to create refined and sophisticated looks.

Clean, straight lines, sleeves with detailing or ruffles, and loose-fitting skirts accentuated by layers of tulle fabric are combined with minimalist colour: white is the undisputed star of the show.
