The collection celebrates Karl Lagerfeld with limited-edition, handmade pieces crafted from ceramics and 24 karat gold and platinum paints. The House of Karl Lagerfeld and Bosa, the internationally known Venetian ceramics workshop, announced a special collaboration to be exhibited as part of the Salone Del Mobile, taking place in Milan from April 18 to 23, 2023.
The collaboration between Karl Lagerfeld and Bosa is a fusion of two creative forces that have come together to create two one-of-a-kind sculptures. These two pieces are exceptional representations of Karl Lagerfeld’s iconic style, recreated with a modern touch using ceramics and 24 karat gold and platinum paints.
The Salone Del Mobile, which is taking place in Milan from April 18 to 23, 2023, will showcase the Karl Lagerfeld X Bosa collection. These sculptures are a tribute to Karl Lagerfeld‘s extraordinary vision and design, reimagined with a fresh perspective.
POP KARL and ROCK KARL are the two sculptures in the collection. POP KARL, designed by Elena Salmistraro, is a playful and colorful representation of Karl Lagerfeld‘s humorous and witty personality. Meanwhile, Nika Zupanc’s ROCK KARL captures his signature look in a more monochromatic tone with a pop of color for the dentelle collar and brushed gold hue for the fingerless gloves. Both sculptures are 41cm in height and 18cm in width, each with its own distinctive character.

The portfolio includes a wide range of products such as ready-to-wear for women, men, and kids, bags, small leather goods, footwear, fragrances, eyewear, and more. The creative vision of the Maison is led by Design Director Hun Kim, with additional members of the KARL family including Brand Ambassador and Product Consultant Sebastien Jondeau, and Sustainability Ambassador Amber Valletta, among others.
