BULGARI Launches Serpenti Retrospective
2013 is definitely the Year of the Serpenti. Bulgari luxury house is celebrating its most emblematic icon in real style with a dazzling exhibition and a book that recounts the extraordinary tale of the reptile from the unique perspective of the jeweler.
Beginning February 9th, Bulgari’s Fifth Avenue flagship hosts a retrospective of a Bulgari enduring and hypnotic symbol. The show features jewels of the magnificent Serpenti Collection and an iridiscent snake around the store’s facade. The installation of the exhibition by Fabien Iliou features both legendary customers and little-known archive documents.
The exhibition is curated by renowned jewelry historian Marion Fassel, who has also written a book (published by Assouline, to be released in March 2013), recounting the creative odyssy of the Serpenti collection.
