Following the Summer 2016 outdoor escapade at the Orangerie in the Jardin du Luxembourg, the House of Bonpoint, the baby and children’s emporium from France founded in 1975, returned to the elegant Hôtel de Brancas in Paris for Winter 2016-2017 Show.
This season, the elegant French gardens were transformed into a circus. Beneath the Bonpoint circus tent, joyful acrobats unveiled four themes imagined by artistic director Christine Innamorato (Christine Innamorato took over from the founder, Marie-France Cohen, in 2005): Heidi, Wild, Sweet Couture and Jules & Jim making this a truly spectacular and poetic season.
Reinterpreting this season’s trends, YAM Bonpoint teenage range (short for “y’en a marre” translated as “I don’t care”) included belted flannel coats, Seafarer dungarees and Bavarian blouses.
