Conjuring up images of a journey suspended in time, the new Giorgio Armani Spring-Summer 2015 advertising campaign was created in London by Norwegian photographer Sølve Sundsbø. Featuring models Josephine Le Tutour and Mathias Lauridsen the campaign is shot against an abstract pictorial backdrop.
“The soft yet intense light suggests a scorched, almost otherworldly desert atmosphere giving the images that unmistakable Armani iconography and timeless elegance,” explained the fashion house the philosophy behind the new visuals.
The 80-year-old designer’s spring collections for women present the python and diaphanous pieces, while the Armani Man wears the relaxed tailoring of the men’s pieces.
Simultaneously with the new fashion campaign, Armani’s Beauty Division unveiled the Armani Eye Tint, an innovative fluid texture that glides over eyelids and dries instantly “for long-lasting, smudge-free wear”. The beauty innovation combines the intensity of pure pigments, the staying power of a tint and the consistency of a cream.
