Vista, A Stunning 1,200-guest, all-veranda Cruise ship, made her debut with a star-studded celebration.
Oceania Cruises’ new Vista boasts the most spacious standard staterooms at sea, plus new Concierge Level Veranda Staterooms for solo travelers.
Oceania Cruises, known for its culinary and destination-focused approach to cruising, recently launched its newest vessel, Vista. The Allura Class ship christened in Malta, is the line’s first new cruise ship in more than a decade, and it boasts a range of innovative features.
At 791 feet long and over 67,000 tons, the ship can accommodate 1,200 guests at double occupancy. Vista cruise ship has the most spacious standard staterooms at sea, each measuring more than 290 square feet, and introduces the new Concierge Level Veranda Staterooms, which are perfect for solo travelers. The ship features an elevated range of onboard activities, including eight bars, lounges, and entertainment venues, a luxurious Aquamar Spa + Vitality Center, and an Aquamar Spa Terrace.
The vessel also highlights 11 onboard culinary venues, including three new additions. Aquamar Kitchen offers an array of wellness-inspired dishes with a hint of indulgence, The Bakery at Baristas serves freshly baked pastries, and the new signature restaurant, Ember, elevates the dining experience to a whole new level. Vista is also introducing The Casino Mixology Bar, a new concept for the line, focused entirely on the art of the cocktail.
Giada De Laurentiis, the ship’s godmother, said, “Vista is truly a dream ship,” and created two signature dishes to be served in Toscana and The Grand Dining Room. De Laurentiis was a part of the christening ceremony, which featured the opening performance of “Into the Night,” Vista’s dance-centric theatrical show, before breaking the ceremonial Champagne bottle across the ship’s hull.

Despite the new and innovative features, some critics may argue that Vista still falls short in terms of overall luxury compared to other luxury cruise lines. However, with Vista’s upcoming summer and winter itineraries exploring the Mediterranean, Mexico, Bermuda, and the Caribbean, the ship is worth considering for travelers seeking a luxurious culinary and destination-focused cruising experience.
